Great product for women that don't have the strength to hold a rifle.  I was 6 for 6 on groundhogs here in Pennsylvania.  My shots were between 200 yards and 500 yards.  Not bad for a women that only shoots a few times a year with my husband.  I never could have shot this well with out the SPEC-REST.   Thanks, Mary Fairman   Pittsburgh, PA

Check local laws before using this set-up!!!

I am writing to thank you for the most incredible shooting rest I have ever used.  I am currently employed as a deputy sheriff, and served  my country in the US Marine Corps.  As a Marine, I shot high expert rifle and I am currently a firearms instructor for all law enforcement  in our country.  I have been extremely active in shooting and hunting since I was a child.  I have purchased several gun rests over the years........I finally found exactly what I was looking for in a rest.  Throughout the summer, I killed a total of 82 groundhogs from your rest.  I was able to join the elite 500-yard club by shooting a groundhog at 617 yards using a Savage 22-250 with factory ammo.......I highly recommend this rest to all.  Thank you, Jim Klingensmith, PGH, Pennsylvania.

Pictured beside me is the son of a friend who writes:  Gentlemen, my name is Alex, I'm 10 years old and live in Pittsburgh, PA.  My dad and his friend Jim took me groundhog hunting for the first time this year.  Before this I never shot a hi power rifle at groundhogs.  With the help of Dad, Jim and his SPEC-REST shooting tripod, my first shot was dead on at 314 yards.  Since then I have shot a bunch more groundhogs with the SPEC-REST it's fun and easy.  Thanks, Alex

The wind was up and we had a tough field to shoot today.   The field is nearly flat with shallow rolls and dips. There is no high ground to take up a prone position to fire from, so the VRS did the trick. With the VRS we could stand and see the chucks thatwe could not have seen from prone or sitting. We killed 19 chucks from your rest in heavy wind.  Without your rest we would not have had a successful hunt! Thanks again, a great asset to my hunting.

I have used your initial product, the VR-505/507 for the last year and a half and have loved it.  I have most of the options including pistol pad, vise pads, and table option.  The shocks and windage adapter (VR-526) are on my list for X-mas but it is the Spec-Rest that I am writing about.  Due to an upcoming prairie dog shoot, I decided it was time to let go of some cash and give your Spec-Rest a try.  I mounted it on your tripod base I already had.

When I got it out of the truck and starting setting it up, I got a few comments about being "too high tech".  By the second day, when everyone else was only able to go to 175-200 yards and I was out to 375-400 yards, their tune changed.

Your Spec-Rest is OUTSTANDING!!!!  Thanks to you and your product an average shooter is now above average.  This product is fabulous.  With quick setup, adjustable range of motion and tension on the motion, target acquisition is fast, accurate and stable.  When everyone else was napping due to strain from other tables and rest types, I was still firing and "knockin 'em down"!  This was the most fun I have had on a prairie dog shoot and I owe it all to Lone Star Field Products and your Spec-Rest VR-555.  The best money I have spent on a product since I bought your VR-507.

I have included a few pictures of your rest in action.  The old guy in the cowboy hat is me!!!!  Yes, it is great for us southpaws too.  Thanks for making my prairie dog outing fantastic.
